Street Fighter 2 HD Beta Extended to September 5, Patch Coming Soon
Originally slated to operate until mid-August, the Xbox 360-exclusive beta formally kicked off on June 25 and was made available to those Xbox 360 owners who purchased Backbone's Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3.
The extension is likely aimed at testing a new patch for the fighter revamp, which Capcom says will arrive "in the coming weeks." The patch incorporates a new netcode which minimizes lag while playing the game online, as well as a number of general gameplay tweaks.
