Wii Rock Band Bonus Songs Are Old PS3, X360 DLC
According to the site, which recently went hands-on with the Wii edition of the multi-instrument music title, the five tracks accompanying the 45 main songs and 13 bonus tracks of the previously-released editions:
- "Dirty Little Secret" - The All American Rejects
- "Don't Look Back in Anger" - Oasis
- "Roam" - The B-52's
- "Rockaway Beach" - The Ramones
- "Roxanne" - The Police
The above, along with many others, are currently available for purchase and download within the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions of the game. Had the songs been new, it is likely they would have eventually appeared as downloadable content, much like the forthcoming European bonus tracks.
Both the Wii and PlayStation 2 versions of Rock Band lack the online play of other editions and do not support downloadable content due to the systems' lack of storage capacity. Co-developed by Harmonix and Pi Studios, the Wii edition of Rock Band arrives in North America on June 22.

Such a shame you can't go online or have any DLC for the Wii... I was really looking forward to picking it up, now I'm not so sure... I'll probably just wait until I get a PS3 to play Rock Band.

Yeah, no DLC kills the sale for me. I don't understand why they can't use the SD card storage for songs. If they don't want people sharings songs by swapping SD cards just use DRM to lock it to one console.
It's a real let down, I was really looking forward to the game. It's a perfect match for the system and could have really helped Nintendo advance their online system.-
Yeah, I only have a PC and a Wii, so I was going to get it for Wii, but no DLC means no reason to buy it for me. Most of the songs I want to play are DLC. I have plenty of SD cards.
Also, they could release expansion disks or something, but then you can't pick and choose what songs to get, so probably not a good idea either.
