Lair Update Offers Analog Control Support
Details released by Sony Japan reveal that the update will allow players to shed Lair's Sixaxis-only control scheme in favor of a more familiar analog setup. The update will be available in Japan on April 17, with a worldwide release likely following soon thereafter.
Released in August of last year, Lair was subject to widespread criticism due to its underwhelming Sixaxis controls, which restricted players to an imprecise tilt-controlled system of movement and aiming.

A friend of mine was working for Sony cinematics, and they were working with factor 5 on this game. The situation was so fucked up and disorganized, I think almost nothing about the dev process was anyone's decision. More like shit exploded and fell where it lay, and some people tried hard to shovel it roughly into place before release.

WOW. I thought this was added like the second week of release because it was necessary.
I tried the game once at a convention and it was so broken I wouldn't bothered until analog controls were stuck in. I am sure I heard they added it nearly after release, but I guess they just planned to add it.... talk about taking their time.
