Call of Duty 4 X360 Map Pack Dated, Pictured
The phrasing seems to indicate that the map pack may arrive for the PlayStation 3 and PC editions after that time. When reached for more details, Activision told Shacknews that more information would be available near the end of April.
Original Story: Microsoft today announced that the Variety Map Pack for Infinity Ward's shooter Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will hit Xbox Live on April 3.
The date coincides with the release of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Game of the Year Edition, which will include the map pack by way of a token redeemable for a free download. The DLC will run 800 Microsoft Points ($10) for those who own the vanilla Xbox 360 edition.
A pair of small screenshots accompanied the announcement, showing off two of the four new maps that will be included in the pack.

Map Details
The Variety Map Pack includes four new multiplayer maps. "Creek" is a wide-open village ravaged by combat where concealment is the difference between life and death. In "Broadcast," fight throughout an enemy communications building with confined corridors and wide-open parking lots.
"Chinatown" is a foggy downtown district, lit only by a full moon and the neon glow of the city. "Killhouse" features a desolate training warehouse filled with a variety of building mock-ups and soft and hard cover points.
