Radar Confirms Prey 2, Unveils Earth No More Art, Details Soul Stalking Effort Incarnate

Following this weekend's inadvertent revelation, self-described "entertainment entity" Radar Group has officially announced the sequel to Human Head's portal-hopping, gravity-bending shooter Prey (PC, X360) and issued the small piece of concept art we posted over the weekend (left).

The company confirmed that Human Head will be reprising its role as developer for Prey 2, which is slated to hit PC and Xbox 360. The storyline is said to have main character Tommy escaping "an Earth that no longer wants him for a future that cannot survive without him." An estimated release date was not provided.

Along with two bits of concept art (above) for Recoil Games' Earth No More (PC, PS3, X360), Radar also revealed a brief synopsis of its third project, Incarnate.

An open world action-adventure title set in present-day Chicago, Incarnate is being developed by an as-yet-unannounced studio for unknown platforms.

"The re-incarnated souls of history's most evil people are converging on present-day Chicago," reads Radar's description of Incarnate. "Stalk your prey in the wide open city, search for them in the dark places, and maybe you will survive long enough to solve the mystery of your own past."

Despite the negativity surrounding Prey 2, I'm willing to give it a shot. I found the original to be a fun romp.

How could there be any negativity surrounding it? Prey was thrilling! And it's based off the legendary IDTech 4.

      What's there not to like?

      sheesh

I'm mostly referring to the negativity on the Shack. :) There was a Prey 2 news article last week and for the most part, people were less than thrilled about the sequel.

          gotcha

Still.... part 1 was as solid as can be... how could part 2 not be as badass?

          simple logic, guys

Heh, well, the solidity of Prey (1) is subjective. I liked it, YOU liked it, but not everyone did. That will happen with every game, ever.

            Prey demo was awesome

but then the rest of the game I felt like I was playing the same level over and over again.

Where is it stated that it's IDTech 4?

Part 2..... no where, I'm simply assuming they stayed with the $500,000 engine they paid for to make the original Prey on.

Not too hard to deduct I don't think.....
