Dead Space (PC, PS3, X360), the third-person sci-fi survival horror game from EA Redwood Shores will be in stores October 31st, publisher Electronic Arts announced today. The game had previously carried a general third quarter release date.

To go along with news of the Halloween launch, EA sent out a new trailer for the game.

    That sounds like a rather convenient release date. I expect its another of EA's 'hard' release dates that ends up forcing the developers to rush the title out.

      Remember last time EA published a SCARY game with a hard date of Halloween? It took Hellgate London three more months to hit 1.0.
