    I'm pretty sure the AK-74u does not fire a 7.62mm round... its wrong in the trailer and on their new vegas2 site in the weapon area.

      You could be correct, all of the AK-74 series of rifles use the 5.45x39mm round. The AK-47s all used the 7.62x39mm round. http://world.guns.ru/assault/as03-e.htm

        I never said that, it would just be nice if they actually got the gun and the ammo it used correct. It's not like there aren't plenty of places to find that information. I probably wouldn't use that gun much anyway, not accurate enough.

        7.62Nato = 7.62x51, 7.62Soviet = 7.62x39 EXCEPT Dragunov = 7.62x54,

          Yep, the AK round is the 7.62x39mm, the 7.62 NATO is the round used in the FAL, G3, and the M14. The NATO round has much more power than the AK round.

          Also, why the fuck would a Soviet gun use a NATO round? That's just dumb.

            The AK-101, 102, and 108 all use the 5.56x45mm NATO round.

              Those aren't Soviet guns. They're Russian, yes, but not Soviet.
