Sins of a Solar Empire Goes Gold, Out Feb. 4

Stardock announced today that Ironclad Games' Sins of a Solar Empire (PC) has gone gold and will be released on February 4.

Priced at $39.95, the 4X and RTS mash-up will be available in retail stores and via Stardock's digital download service next week. A collector's edition which includes a CD soundtrack, poster, and other bonuses will also be released for ten dollars over the standard version.

I really hope there's a demo for this. Sounds really interesting -- I just hope it's not as overwhelming as Galactic Civ II...just never got that game.

  There will be about a month after release from what I read on their forums. It looks good though. I'm gonna have to pick it up.

  Yeah, I'm waiting for the demo too. I have a habit of getting boners for screenshots of games like this and then being really unable to get into the game itself. (I'm looking at you, Eve.)
