The game will give players the chance to be top guns in a sometime-in-the-future setting, defending America against a power-hungry group of mercenaries.

Ubisoft Bucharest's experience with the Blazing Angels series of flight combat sims makes the studio a natural choice for the project, and the game will of course support online multiplayer dogfighting. Another recent addition to the Clancy clan of games is Tom Clancy's EndWar, a real-time strategy game from Ubisoft Shanghai set to hit PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 early next year.
