E for All Pricing Information Revealed to All
IDG claims that its event allows the public "unprecedented access to the video game industry," presumably referring to those members of the public who have not created websites for the purpose of attending E3 in the past. The company has high hopes for the breadth of its customer base, claiming that those who should attend include "consumers..., media, software developers, buyers and retailers, programmers, distributors, entertainment industry representatives, financiers and venture capitalists, importers and exporters, manufacturers, resellers, researchers, educators, financial and industry analysts."
Along with demo kiosks of recently released and upcoming games, the event will feature tournaments, a Video Games Live concert performance, and the Into the Pixel game-inspired art exhibit.

I'm scared. The smell of just those working in the industry (and the countless EB and Gamestop flunkies) was unbearable enough in the convention halls at E3; soap is apparently not big among a lot of people in the field. When you start letting every gamer with $90 in the door you are gonna have BO the likes of which the world has never seen...

Bingo!
If there was anything I HATED about E3 it was the assholes who would bring these ginormous bags to the show floor and just push their way through.
These were also usually assholes in suits who had this smug attitude that they were somehow "above" you.
Regardless of what the industry is...if you wear a suit...chances are you already are (or will become) an asshole.
