Are You Ready to Exer-Game?
Targeting children between the ages of 3-14 years, Nexgym offers "fun and positive solutions to the growing health and fitness challenges facing today's children," ranging from Xtreme Birthday Parties to various types of exer-gaming. Nexgym has two locations in Texas, and the company plans to open more than 10 new locations across 2007 in Texas and major cities in other states. The grand opening festivities of the new locations will include DDR tournaments.
"This agreement with Nexgym is the latest in a series of partnerships including the State of West Virginia public school system and 24 Hour Fitness to showcase the health benefits of using Dance Dance Revolution," said Clara Gilbert, director of business partnerships at Konami. "DDR and Nexgym are a perfect fit, delivering an unparalleled mix of fitness and fun that get kids as young as 3 years olf off the couch and playing to stay in shape."
"Joining the health and fitness benfits of DDR with the environment of a Nexgym is an unbeatable combination in helping kids stay in shape while having fun," added Nexgym president Kevin Bolden. "By placing DDR in Nexgym locations we strive to help kids achieve their fitness goals in a non-intimidating and fun way.
As an aside, I broke my foot playing DDR back in 2001.

It's an interesting idea, but I doubt you'll get a bunch of fat 14 year olds into this place and dance around like a moron, I mean that's just asking to be videotaped and put on youtube.
