Myst Online: Uru Live Goes Live

5
GameTap sends word that the full version of Myst Online: Uru Live, the MMO-like game built around the classic Myst franchise, is as of today operational on its monthly subscription service. Originally published by Ubisoft as Uru Live in late 2003, its multiplayer servers were shut down only months later. Last December, it was revealed that original developer Cyan Worlds would be returning to update the game and rerelease it on GameTap; at the time, a beta version was made available to subscribers. This week's version marks the official rerelease of Uru Live.

The official Uru Live site currently features two GameTap promotional offers, one allowing free limited access for one week and one discounting the first month of full access to $0.99. Regular GameTap subscriptions run $9.95/month.

I've always been into the myst games, but there is no way i'm subscribing to gametap for this. I gave it a shot a few months ago, and promptly canceled. Poor game selection, frequent crashes, and almost no support. No thanks.

Uh, they have 800+ games, and a TON of them are extremely good (Silent Hill series, Planescape Torment, etc). And yea, never crashed once

I'd sign-up just for Quest for Glory, Zork, and Ultima. Do you know if the Baldur's Gate I and II include their expansions?

I BELIEVE BG2 does, not positive though. I'm like 75% sure

I'd probably subscribe if so many games weren't stamped with '* Not available in Canada'.
