Some DOOM movie news this morning courtesy of Reuters, as they are reporting that Karl Urban will star in the Universal project. Urban was most recently seen in the The Bourne Supremacy, and he's also been in The Chronicles of Riddick as well as the Lord of the Rings movies Two Towers and Return of the King (as Eomer).

Urban will play John Grimm, the leader of a special ops team that is at the center of the futuristic action-adventure film. When dealing with alien demons, he is forced to cross paths with the organization responsible for his parents' deaths.
