Quake3 @ 300fps?

The Riva3D guys sent word on this bit of Glaze3D hype which should get some panties in a wad. Of course it is just vaporware at this point but at least it looks like the BitBoys might actually get some type of hardware produced this time around. No idea if it will actually be fast or not though. A quote from one of the Glaze3D developers, translated from VoodooExtreme:

'The Glaze3D chip is at the moment in the last stages of the silicon implementation, and when ìt is done, the database goes to Infineon for processing. We will get the first prototypes in the very beginning of the next year. We have at the moment a 100% accurate simulationmodel of the chip, which can do millisecond accurate runs. From these we have been able to 'calculate' that to draw one Quake3 frame takes 3-5 milliseconds, which means 200-300fps on behalf of the graphics card.'
