Chaos Ensues As Cheaters Are Matched Up With Pro Overwatch Players

Here is a cautionary tale that proves Overwatch cheaters never prosper.

What happens when cheaters meet pro players in an Overwatch match? A whole lot of embarrassment for the player who's decided to use an aimbot to cheat their way through the game, that's what, and a hearty round of laughs for the professional gamers totally murdering them. A recent Overwatch stream hosted by professional gamer and member of NRG eSports Brandon "Seagull" Larned and a team of other pros was where everything went down, and by "went down" you can safely assume in flames.

Seagull's Overwatch team was joined by Brady “Agilities” Girardi of eSports outfit Immortals, Christopher “GrimReality” Schaefer of Immortals, CLG player Nathan “Miso” Lui, streamer MoonMoon, and Lucio player DSPStanky. All in all a formidable group, the cheater had no idea what he was about to get into.

It's all caught on stream for your viewing pleasure. Seagull and company were initially concerned that they would end up losing to the cheaters, but that didn't last very long. They ended up focusing all of their efforts on the cheater after it seemed like they might be facing a real threat, and by the end the cheater was desperate to turn the tides of battle.

By the end of the match the cheater in question hopped into the cannon on the Oasis stage, launched themselves at the team, and was left for the entire pack of professional gamers to dogpile on. Needless to say, it did not end well for the cheater.

While the pros ended up having a good time despite how hard this person wanted to try to ruin their fun, the cheater ended up pretty obviously angry. That's what you get for breaking the rules, and it's clear to see you probably shouldn't head into Overwatch in the future looking to hustle other players. You never know which match you might end up in. Overwatch was previously voted as Shacknews' number two choice for Game of the Year 2016, so if this looks like a fun time for you, don't hesitate to pick up a copy.
