What Causes the For Honor Requirements Not Met Error
Although the game doesn't explicitly state the fact, there are two requirements you must meet before you can play multiplayer matches. The first is the short tutorial that you must complete when first starting the game. During this tutorial you learn the basics of For Honor gameplay, fight some AI-controlled heroes, and afterward you're taken to the main menu. The second requirement to be able to play multiplayer can be fulfilled simply by selecting multiplayer on the main menu. The first time you try to enter multiplayer mode in For Honor you're told you must defeat your faction leader before you gain access to the full multiplayer menu. Although the exact cause of the requirements not met error is unknown, it seems likely that an issue with the game recognizing your completion of one of these two requirements is the cause of the error.
How to Fix For Honor Requirements Not Met Error
While there's no surefire way to solve this error, if you run into it the objective should be to try and get the game to recognize you've completed the requirements necessary to play multiplayer. If you've already completed these tasks and the game is showing that requirements are not met, try closing For Honor and restarting the program. If this doesn't work, you may have to uninstall and reinstall For Honor from scratch. If neither of those solutions works, you may have to wait for a patch from Ubisoft that correct the problem.
