The Division servers down across all platforms [Update]
The weekend is here, but The Division is currently down.
Update 4 @ 7:30pm PT: It appears the servers for The Division are once again having issues this evening as numerous reports, as well as our own experience, have confirmed connection timeouts and disconnects have been sporadically occurring. Ubisoft has yet to comment on the current server downtime, but we've reached out to learn more about this new server outage.
Update 3: Our nightmare will soon be over as power has partially been restored.
UPDATE: Power has been partially restored. We expect all the servers to be back up again in 15 minutes.

Update 2: It appears Ubisoft is slowly restoring access to The Division's servers.
UPDATE: We experienced a power outage in one of our European data-centers. Players will be able to log back in gradually as we restore power

Update: The Division's official Twitter account has revealed its European servers are having connection issues.

Original Story:
After The Division went down for around two hours on March 9th and after receiving a 650mb patch that only updated its language support, reports are coming in the game’s servers are currently down.
According to Twitter chatter, many users are reporting The Division is currently inaccessible. We've attempted to access The Division to check, and we can confirm the servers are currently down.
Unfortunately, today is the start of The Division's first weekend being available at retail, and to see it go down on the cusp of the weekend is not a good sign for the remaining days.
We've reached out to Ubisoft for comment and we'll be updating this story as we hear more information.

People still aren't used to the idea of not being able to play a game they had already paid for. Give it time, though. They'll get used to it, and like it, and ask for more.

Seriously, getting defensive about this? This is actually what games reporting should be. They have shilled the game for Ubisoft enough, it is up to Ubisoft to fix the problems. Just like EA/DICE and BF4 problems, just like Blizzard with Diablo III problems, it is part of the deal now.
