Shack Reels: Shack's Arcade Corner: Crazy Taxi

This week's Arcade Corner is chock full of crazy!

2

It’s the day before Thanksgiving, but we’d still like to get a bit crazy with this week’s Shack’s Arcade Corner.

For this week’s episode, Greg Burke takes us all the way back to the late 90s to talk about Sega’s Crazy Taxi. The game had a simple concept as players needed to pick up their fare, then drop them off at their requested destination. But drivers were rewarded for giving their passengers the ride of their life.

Shack Staff stories are a collective effort with multiple staff members contributing. Many of our lists often involve entires from several editors, and our weekly Shack Chat is something we all contribute to as a group.

I loved this game when I was a kid. I only ever picked up the cheerleaders because I found their positive reinforcement very effective.

Very cool Greg, game was a classic for sure I played the hell out of it on the DC and even in the Arcade.

Crazy Taxi and Power Stone 1 where both show cases for the new NAOMI board it blew my mind at the time when I first saw footage and then I became obsessed with the DC for it had all the Arcade ports.

Cool vid as always, keep them coming.
