The antagonist of Battleborn, Lothar Rendain, has a special message for the citizens of the last star, which has been released today for our viewing displeasure. His message is simple: we’re all going to die no matter what we do. Thankfully, his message is filled with new in-game footage of Battleborn in action.

The new trailer gives us a taste of what to expect from Rendain and his minions in Battleborn's Story Mode. While we don’t learn this from the video, Gearbox has a backstory for Rendain that will have players loving to hate him. He isn’t entirely selfish in his conquest to destroy the last star as he believes what he’s doing is for good reason.
