TGS 2015: Gravity Rush will come to PS4 in December; sequel announced for 2016 [Update]
Gravity Rush is an old Vita favorite, but now PS4 owners will get their first crack at the game in December... with a new sequel also announced for next year. (Update: Japan will get it in December, but North America will have a slightly longer wait.)
Sony's TGS press conference continued with a new video featuring apples and lots of them, leading into the reveal of an old Sony Japan adventure that PlayStation Vita fans fondly remember as Gravity Rush. After showing off footage of the first game, which will be released on PS4 as Gravity Rush Remastered, Sony then announced that the cast of the first game would return for an all-new adventure in 2016.
Known as Gravity Daze in Japan, this cel-shaded adventure follows an amnesiac named Kat, who finds herself with the power to control gravity, using it to fight monsters and save humanity. The remaster is set to come with the base game and all three of its DLC packs: the Spy Pack, the Maid Pack, and the Military Pack. Gravity Rush Remastered is set to release in Japan on PS4 on December 10, with the sequel set to come next year. (Update: A PlayStation.Blog has confirmed that Gravity Rush Remastered will actually hit North America on February 9.)
