Evolve: Hunters Quest lets players match-3 for Evolve XP on iOS and Android

Those looking for a notably different way to level up their Evolve characters will now have an option to do so.

It's not hard to find a Bejeweled clone. Simply throw a rock into the iOS App Store or Google Play stores and one will pop up. 2K Games and Cat Daddy Games are now throwing their jewel into the batch, but with a bit more of an incentive. This game will level up your Evolve characters.

Game Informer notes the game is called Evolve: Hunters Quest, a match-3 Puzzle Quest-style game that sees Evolve's cast of Hunters hunting down the world's monsters. Defeating the game's 100+ monsters will help you proceed through the game, but will also level up your own characters across both the PC and console versions of the main Evolve game via your my2K account.

If that sounds like too much of a time-waster, the app will also include a function for watching replays from your main Evolve game. This will allow users to carry their favorite replays with them on-the-go.

Evolve: Hunter's Quest is free-to-play and available now on the App Store and Google Play store.
