Battlefield 4 Premium Edition launching this month with all expansions and more [Update]
EA is releasing Battlefield 4 Premium Edition later this month that will include all expansion packs, exclusive customization options, and even "priority position in server queues."
[Update: An EA spokesperson has confirmed Battlefield 4 Premium Edition will not be heading to the Xbox 360 due to "technical limitation."]
EA has announced Battlefield 4 will be getting a premium edition later this month that will pack some post-launch downloadable content, additional personalization options, and more on October 21.
Battlefield 4 Premium Edition will include the original single-player campaign and multiplayer experience found in the original Battlefield 4 package, but what makes this a “premium edition” are all of the bells and whistles EA is including. This includes all four previously released expansion packs, which are Second Assault, China Rising, Naval Strike and Dragon’s Teeth and access to the upcoming Final Stand expansion pack when it’s released this fall.
Battlefield fans who pick up the premium edition later this month will also receive exclusive personalization options that include camos, paints, emblems, dog tags and more which include 12 bonus Battlefield 4 Gold Battlepacks and “priority position in server queues.”
Battlefield 4 Premium Edition will retail for $59.99 and be available in North America for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and PC. As of now, EA hasn't made any announcements if or when the Premium Edition will be made available on Xbox 360.
We've reached out to EA to see what their plans are for Battlefield Xbox 360 players.
