Tecmo Koei's Deception series is coming back. The long-running trap-setting series has been dormant since 2005's Trapt on PS2. Deception 4 harkens back to Deception 2 from the original PSone, and will have players creating elaborate Rube Golberg-like dungeons to inflict upon hapless warriors.

According to IGN, Deception 4 will be available on PS3 and Vita on March 25. And while the game will feature cross-save and cross-play, there's no word yet if there will be cross-buy functionality. Here, enjoy this wonderfully bizarre trailer to get a taste of what to expect:

Deception 1 was great. First person, create your own dungeon/mansion, weird ass story about you resurrecting the devil.

      Just great.

      This, looks terrible.

It's supposed to be humilitating, which is one of the three aspects represented in the traps this game.
