The Stanley Parable tells its tale on Mac

The Stanley Parable has hit Mac, allowing Mac owners to craft Stanley's tale for themselves. Oh, and it's on sale, too!

Stanley doesn't take holidays off, it seems. He's still at his cubicle, as you read this, typing away endlessly without even so much as a Christmas knick-knack at his desk. And Stanley's workload has just doubled, as the tale of his existence, The Stanley Parable, has arrived on Mac.

For those unaware of the story of The Stanley Parable... er... it's kinda hard to nail that down, no matter how much creator Davey Wreden tried to during our interview with him earlier this year. The Stanley Parable's story is what you make of it, as players craft the main character's story for themselves, sending Stanley down a strange rabbit hole of endless possibilities.

Those looking to dive into Stanley's world can celebrate the Mac version's arrival by picking it (or the PC version) up from the Steam Winter Sale.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
