The Banner Saga introduces Insane Viking Pack pre-order pack

Following its successful Kickstarter campaign, The Banner Saga has received a release date. It'll arrive on January 14 for PC and Mac and Stoic Studio is offering a fresh pre-order pack.

After a highly-successful Kickstarter campaign, Stoic Studio has issued a release date for its animated turn-based RPG, The Banner Saga. The debut project from the team of ex-Star Wars: The Old Republic developers will arrive on PC and Mac on January 14 and bring with it a fresh pre-order pack.

To celebrate the announcement, Stoic is offering a pre-order exclusive 'Insane Viking Pack,' which will include the game at 20% off, exclusive character Tryggvi, a Pearl Necklace item that grants a 10% chance to do double damage in combat, and three exclusive tracks from Journey composer Austin Wintory, who previously joined the project last year. Kickstarter backers will receive the Insane Viking Pack at no extra charge.

The Banner Saga will be available through Steam, GameFly, and GameStop. For a better look at the Insane Viking Pack, check out the trailer below.
