GOG summer sale final day brings back all daily deals

If you've missed any of the daily deals in GOG's big summer sale, good news! As the sale enters its final day, all of those fine bargains have returned, with up to 85% off big bouncing bundles as well as single games. Plus, you know, if you've been waiting to see if a particular game that was only 50% off came up in a daily, snap it up now.

Rather than reel off the whole big long list, here are ten which tickle my fancy:

  • Baldur's Gate: The Original Saga + Baldur's Gate 2 Complete + Dungeons & Dragons: Dragonshard + Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone + Icewind Dale Complete + Icewind Dale 2 Complete + Neverwinter Nights Diamond + Neverwinter Nights 2 Complete + Planescape: Torment + The Temple of Elemental Evil - $21.10 (80% off)

  • Blackwell Legacy + Blackwell Unbound + Blackwell Convergence + Blackwell Deception + Gemini Rue + Primordia + Resonance - $8.96 (80% off)

  • Don't Starve - $9.99 (33% off)

  • Dungeon Keeper + Dungeon Keeper 2 + Magic Carpet + Magic Carpet 2 + Populous + Populous 2 + Populous: The Beginning + Syndicate + Syndicate Wars + Theme Hospital - $14.90 (75% off)

  • Fez - $4.99 (50% off)

  • FTL: Faster Than Light - $2.49 (75% off)

  • Hotline Miami - $3.33 (66% off)

  • Miasmata - $3.74 (75% off)

  • The Witcher 2 - $5.99 (70% off)

  • Zafehouse Diaries - $2.49 (75% off)

FTL developer Subset also sells the game itself at that price, which comes both DRM-free and as a Steam key. And for goodness' sake, now that you know it won't get any cheaper, do pick up System Shock 2 for $4.99.

I don't think so. GOG has no DRM

Which is why I wait for games to get games on GOG instead of Steam. I'd rather not be locked in the Xbox-One-lite DRM.

i will personally denut any man who doesnt buy System Shock 2, excluding those who already own it. if you are a woman i am sure ill find something else to cut off.

      so say we all.

How long do you think it would take someone to complete the Baldur's Gate bundle? I'd say that's about half a year of earnest gaming.

easily 500+ hours. i could feasibly see 2 or 3 times that if you really go balls deep in BG2 and TOB.

Considering BG2 with ToB can easily hit 100+ hours, the bundle consisting of BG1 and others can certainly hit 500+ hours.

I believe the bundle is misleading. It includes IWD complete, IWD2 complete, NWN diamond, NWN2, Temple of elemental evil, planescape torment.

However, "The central quest of the game consists of about sixty hours of play, while the full game, including all side quests, totals around 300 hours." I'm not going to say that you'll be or anyone else here will be hitting that 300 hours, but if each bundle was even 50 hours per, BG2 + ToB just needs to be ~150 hours.

i think i put about 200 into BG2 alone, probably another 75 in TOB.

Lot of humor and the gameplay is different. Down side is the boss fights are mostly just annoying and it's only like a 3 hour game. But I'd get a sequel if one came out.
