Indie developer HumaNature, headed by Toejam & Earl creator Greg Johnson, has announced its debut project, Doki-Doki Universe. The game is set for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Vita, along with a mobile companion app that handles its in-game messaging. A post on the PlayStation Blog explains the multi-game effort. A free version will be available on the PS4, PS3, or Vita, in which you fly around the universe and take personality quizzes. This will include a Mail messaging app, which will also be available on mobile devices. HumaNature calls the full game a mixture of RPG, simulation, and interactive story. You'll play as a robot called QT3, waiting for your human family to return after a 30-plus year absence. An alien, appropriately called Alien Jeff, delivers the news that your model is being scrapped for lacking humanity, so it's his job to discover how much humanity you have. From there you'll travel around different planets, taking personality tests and interacting with the cast of characters.
