Carmageddon is coming to Android devices next Friday, May 10, following its iOS release way back in October. Like its iOS brother, the Android version of the blood-soaked racing game will be free at launch for a limited time.

Joystiq reports that the remake includes enhanced graphics, customizable touch pads, and Facebook and YouTube integration. It will be free for the first 24 hours on Google Play.

Far as I know, on Google play store you cannot switch from free to paid but you can from paid to free

Developers add another version to the play store and remove them after the time period. Most call them the special version. They need to be fed 2 just did it the other day. It's up to the maker to decide if the free version will get updates like the paid version. In the case of they need to be fed 2, it won't. Consider that one a free full trial.
