Yeah, I think $30 for Dead Space 3 will be my sweet spot. I only paid $10 for Dead Space 1 and 2 together and I loved them immensely. I'd love to play DS3 co-op, but work has me on a different schedule now away from my games buddy. I'm sure I'll enjoy the SP aspect of it well enough.

      Thanks for the heads up!

      What? :(

      April 26, 2013 9:36 PM

Anyone interested in Hitman Absolution from GMG who lives in North America: DON'T Buy it if you want the sniper challenge preorder game.

Only buying it from Steam will give you the Sniper Challenge. Just a heads up from someone who already made that mistake....

It goes, it goes. No particularly fun trolling on Shacknews lately but you know how that goes.

I've started moving, which is good. So far this week, I have run four miles, rollerskated two miles, swam 660 metres, and walked a lot I guess idk. I'm mostly thrilled that I even moved, but am oddly proud of those (low, I know) numbers because it's been so long since I've done anything more strenuous than cycling or playing cricket.

Effing ridiculous. How do you run out of stock of a digital product.

This is precisely why I can't stand GMG. There's always some hassle. Worst. Digital. Game. Seller.

        Ever.

People buy batches of Steam keys. Those batches run out. Then they need to top them up. Valve is probably reluctant to let other retailers generate their own Steam keys.

Thank you for the update and extra info, Alice (and other folk in here). It's frustrating but it's hardly the end of the world.

I'll bet a lot that it's on a huge sale come 4th of July on STEAM - I can wait. :)

It's the same as having a sale on anything. The company doesnt is taking a hit on the price with a promotion and doesnt want to lose millions.

          April 27, 2013 9:07 AM

They probably got a limited run of Steam keys. At least you can still buy the game on Steam, but not at this deal.

Could be worse: despite the fact that it is in the Steam catalog, you can't buy Prey on Steam, because they ran out of keys in 2009. http://kotaku.com/5436298/steam-sold-out-of-prey-please-try-again-later

Even after Bethesda acquired the IP, you still can't buy Prey on Steam, despite the game being in the Steam catalog.
