Dreamfall Chapters trailer is pretty

Have you pledged money to the Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey crowdfunding campaign yet? Yes? Then you'll be thrilled by this new trailer for Ragnar Tørnquist's conclusion to the adventure game trilogy. No? Then perhaps this'll win you over. Or not. Whatever. Watch it, if you want. The game's smashing through stretch goals like nobody's business so it doesn't particularly need your help, but it'd still like it.

The trailer explains Dreamfall's premise, of two worlds and the people who can flit between them or exist in both. And has bits of pretty in-game-ish footage. It was released exclusive to IGN last week but now we all get to do as we jolly well please with it.

Developer Red Thread Games sought $850,000 on Kickstarter to make the game, and hit that in just over a week. With five days left, the campaign's sitting at around $1,175,000, having hit stretch goals to add new locations, characters, and lore dumps, improve the music and graphics, and add Mac and Linux versions. The next, at $1,125k, is for German and French translations.

Pledging at least $25 will get you a copy of the game when it's finished.

My #1 most anticipated game. TLJ was special. I am so happy to see the kickstarter make its goal so Ragnar and his team could deliver this.

I am so excited for this game. I played TLJ like 4 years after it was released and it was amazing. Played Dreamfall a few years after release too, both aged very well. Would love it if they supported Oculus.

What kind of game is this?
Do you go around doing quests, is it 3rd person, 1st person, what do we DO in this game?
