Better late than never, right? 16 years after its original Saturn release, Nights into Dreams is finally available on PC. Today's Steam release is based on the HD remaster that appeared on PSN and XBLA a few months ago, featuring newly updated graphics, widescreen support, and online leaderboards. But, if you're not fond of the updated visuals, you can also play the game in "original Sega Saturn form," as well.

And if you're feeling festive, you'll be happy to know that the PC release also includes Christmas Nights for free. It's available now on Steam for $10.

I have some memories of this game, gorgeous visuals, interesting control and a super weird controller that came with it. Not sure if I care about a remake or not. Not very memorable game wise.

I remember playing Nights at a friends house - stylistically it reminds me of Pandemonium. I wonder if an iPad release is in the works.

Pandemonium was a pretty cool game. It was one of the first 2.5D games I remember. That was kind of a thing for a while there while games were transitioning from 2d to 3d. It was almost like they weren't quite sure what to do with 3d yet so they basically made 2d platformers with 3d objects in them. It was a pretty game at the time.
