Several weapon upgrades and difficulty modes will be available for your playing pleasure, Capcom says, with the hard "Son of Sparda" mode unlocked by completing the demo. It should be enough for you to play around for a while and get a feel for it, then.

Ninja Theory's revamp of the series is coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on January 15, 2013. The outsourced PC edition is due to follow shortly after.

This is made by Ninja Theory, the people who made Heavenly Sword and Enslaved people - please bear that in mind and download and support these guys. They really make some unique and cool games, despite some flaws in them.

I'm sure it will be a great game (that DmC fans will hate because Donte is too much of an edgy tryhard teen.) I'll be giving it a go if the PC port isn't sloppy.

I don't know much about the franchise - but them being limited to appeasing the original crowd I suspect will limit some of their great talent :( hence my frustration.

              I hope I'm wrong.

Voice acting and mocap is just great, story is ... pretty good but the combat, I can't recall if it has difficulty modes but if it does - choose easy........
I posted a video the other day of one of the cutscnes (type heavenly sword hd cutscene into youtube) - generals is the one, it's crazy.
