Firefall developer Red 5 Studios and Shacknews are teaming up to offer readers 20 chances to get into the Firefall beta, with five lucky winners getting upgraded to Founders packs worth from $20 to $100. All you have to do to be eligible is to be as creative as possible in letting us know in the comments below why you should be selected. Here's the kicker: Do it in eight words, no more, no less.

A $100 Commander's pack will be given to the best entry, while we also have three Lieutenant's packs and one Ensign pack to give away. Also included will be an exclusive in-game Merch pet (as seen on Penny Arcade), as these packs were created for PAX Prime. The in-game items won't be unlocked until September 24. As for the beta keys, anyone redeeming one of the 20 keys from Shack will get immediate access to the beta, with no waiting.

Deadline for entries is Sunday, September 16 at 9 p.m. PT. No comment below (or not meeting the eight-word requirement) means no valid entry.
