Fez creator working on two games

Phil Fish has said he's gone back to two projects that were in the works before Fez, but hasn't decided which one to pursue yet.

Phil Fish, the man behind the noodle-scratching puzzler Fez, says he has two more projects in the works. Both games were in progress before he left them for Fez, but now that it's finished he is trying to choose which he will focus his time on first. He didn't share details on either game concept, or even their names.

CVG reports that at a Gamelab 2012 speech in Barcelona, Fish says he was working on the two games with friends, but he had to focus on Fez. "It is difficult to decide which game you are going to dedicate to, it may be something that will occupy many years of your life."

Fish isn't kidding when he talks about a game taking several years. Fez was first announced in 2007, and didn't release on Xbox Live Arcade until earlier this year.

Hopefully these won't take 5 years to develop as well

Great, keep us posted on what he decided to eat for lunch, and whether he bought that Bjork cd or not.

I think it's reasonable to expect that people would be interested in what the creator of a game that was well received is doing next.

only there is no news of what he's doing next other than 'fez creator is thinking about doing more stuff, no clue as to what though' I mean if he gave specifics other than 'hasn't decided which one to pursue yet' then I would say yes, this would be news.

When is Fez coming to steam? I want to look forward to paying $2.50 during a sale and never playing it.

You end up buying that many games on the steam sale that you don't get around to play half of them lol, icon collecting!
