Amazing Spider-Man swings onto PC in August

It was casually mentioned during E3 that Beenox's swing 'em up The Amazing Spider-Man would be coming to PC as well as consoles, but oh how easily dreams and reality merge during that weird week. How splendid, then, to hear that it is indeed coming to Steam in August.

The official blog post confirms that Steam achievements will be there for achievement hounds. It's a little vague, but it seems the PC edition will be a straight Steamworks title, and so require Steam.

It's only fitting; were Peter Spiderman to play video games, he'd surely do it on PC.

Beenox's movie tie-in was released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, 3DS and DS yesterday. Early reviews are looking pretty positive.

Yes! Long live the PC. . . After that the only other one I'm hoping not to miss is Dragon's Dogma since it looks like something that belongs on PC anyway.
