We can get behind video game delays if it means we end up with a better product on the other side; however, when we watch the ongoing E3 demo videos of Portal 2 we raise our hands to the heavens and ask why. Why not just release this, clearly full functioning demo to the masses awaiting the recently delayed sequel. As GLaDOS would say, "You monster."

In part four of the E3 demo trailers, we're introduced to the "Thermal Discouragement Beam" and its many tactical uses.

  Video 1 was story stuff but 2-5 have only been showing off the new gameplay mechanics.
  
  This is the same demo they showed behind closed doors at E3. They are just putting it out there for everyone now.

    That's a bummer because the rest of the videos are the ones that actually show off the gameplay additions.
    
    If there was one you shouldn't have watched, it was the first one.

  They have stated that what you're seeing will definitely be changed and this was basically an E3 demo of things to come.
