Bayonetta PS3 Patch Brings Install Option

7
In an effort to address some of the complaints surrounding the PlayStation 3 version of Bayonetta, publisher SEGA has released a downloadable update for the game.

The patch adds the option for PlayStation 3 players to install the game to their hard drive. Doing so "significantly decreases the loading times for the game," according to SEGA. Players will be prompted to download the update upon booting the game while connected to the online PlayStation Network.

Released on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the ridiculously over-the-top Platinum-developed action game was ported to the PlayStation 3 by SEGA. Both were praised by critics, though the PlayStation 3 edition was often marked down for issues not found on the Xbox 360, such as frame rate problems, longer load times and graphical woes.

Not like DarkSiders but in certain lvls it is nearly the same effect.

I ignore it but would be real nice if they fixed it.

I play at 1080p if interested..

Thanks valcan. I still wanna get the game though.

Would be great if they fix it though, I hate tearing in my PC games, I won't like it on the 360 either.

PS3 version has the same issues with screen tearing.

Patching the game to support HDD installs seems like a pretty minor change to me.

I wouldn't expect them to do any updates that will help the screen tearing or framerate problems (that are on both systems).

I hear sony made this patch not Sega... Atleast someone cares even if it's not the people who made the game.
