GC 2008: Silent Hill: Homecoming Getting Simultaneous PC Release, New Media Available

Update: Konami's US branch has announced that the PC version of Silent Hill: Homecoming will arrive via Steam in September, suggesting the delayed November release for all three versions is just for Europe.

Original Story: Konami announced today that Silent Hill: Homecoming has suffered a delay, as the Double Helix developed survival horror game has been moved from September to November.

The company also confirmed that the PC-DVD release of the game will ship simultaneously with the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions. According to Konami, the PC version will be identical to its console brethren.

New screenshots were also made available, as seperate PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 galleries. Below you can find a trailer.

    What's up with the kid talking about "the key" and stuff? And why does it feel the trailer feel like a bad horror film?

      Horror survival games are all about bad horror. Thank goodness Silent hill focuses on messing with your brain then jumping things out at you so much.

        Good horror survival games aren't about bad horror.

        I agree with bigexplosions, this doesn't feel like Silent Hill so much as a low-rent Hollywood imitation.
