A unique set of pirate gear was gifted to players who pre-ordered Sea of Thieves prior to its launch, but unfortunately a lot of players are finding that the Black Dog pack is currently missing. If you’re one of the unlucky pirates who can’t find their Black Dog pack, we have some good news for you.

How to Get the Missing Black Dog Pack

The Black Dog pack is a badass looking set of all-black pirate attire that was only available if you pre-ordered Sea of Thieves. When you first land in Sea of Thieves and check any clothing chest, you should see your Black Dog clothing waiting for you, but if you don’t, you’re part of the hundreds, if not thousands, of players who are currently missing the highly coveted gear.

According to the Sea of Thieves official support page, players who pre-ordered Sea of Thieves after a certain date may find their Black Dog pack missing. Rare is currently aware of the issue and is in the process of sending out codes for the gear via Xbox Live messages. There are a few different types of players who missed out which means different delivery expectations:

  • Pre-orders after January 26 may have to wait 24 hours
  • Pre-orders between March 16 and March 20 may have to wait longer

If by March 23 you still have not received a code for your missing Black Dog pack, you will need to fill out a support ticket using the above link. No explanation is currently given for why this has happened, we’re just going to have to be patient and wait for our sweet black hat and jacket. While we twiddle our thumbs, check out our Sea of Thieves guide for more insights and answers to your questions!
