Destiny 2 - How to Fix the Saxophone Error
PC Gamers are not feeling super jazzed about the latest Destiny 2 beta error code.
Bungie’s loot-driven shooter sequel Destiny 2 is a week away from launching on consoles, but the delayed PC version is currently playable via an early-access beta. At least it should be. PC gamers attempting to log into the beta when it launched at 1pm EDT are encountering issues jumping into the fight and are presented with an error code dubbed SAXOPHONE.
How to Fix the SAXOPHONE Error
Upon receiving the error, player are instructed to visit the Destiny 2 support site at help.bungie.net and search for the error code. The support site currently offers little help, stating, “Players who encounter this error must restart the Destiny application. This error was logged the moment it occurred.” It is possible that server overload could be the culprit for the error.
The console betas for Destiny 2 that ran in mid-July also had their share of frustrating error codes. Players became familiar with the codes OLIVE and TERMITE. These codes were presented to players attempting to enter the Xbox One and PS4 clients of the Destiny 2 beta.
For the player who do manage to get into the PC beta and are able to connect to the servers, don’t forget to check out our guide to accessing the Farm Social Space. The official release date for the PC version will be on October 24.
