E3 2017: Sony Reveals The Inpatient For PSVR

Fans got a look at an all-new IP built for PlayStation VR.

There have been a lot of great game reveals so far in Sony's E3 2017 press conference, many of which have been centered around PlayStation VR. Among several new and exciting reveals was a trailer for The Inpatient, an all-new PSVR title from the creators of Until Dawn.



There's not much we know about Inpatient aside from the fact that it looks to be placed in some sort of mental asylum, which certainly sets the stage for tense and perhaps even terrifying moments. Seeing as how it comes from the same team behind Until Dawn, these horror-based elements will come as no surprise, and the game itself certainly has a visual flair reminiscent of Until Dawn.

Sony hasn't provided a firm release date for The Inpatient just yet, but like many of the games featured in their E3 2017 press conference, the game may be set to release sometime in 2018.
